At Anna’s Acres and Settler’s Yard, we are creating something truly special—a living legacy space that honors the families, stories, and roots that built our community. The Heritage Wall is designed to bring the past, present, and future together in one meaningful place.

We invite families to submit photos, names, and personal stories to help us build a visual and historical timeline of Russiaville and the surrounding area. This isn’t just a display—it’s a growing collection of memories, milestones, and moments that matter.

Guests can choose to participate in a variety of ways, from simply adding their name to the wall to creating a framed family feature or even sharing a deeper story through a custom plaque. Every contribution helps build something lasting while also supporting the continued growth of Settler’s Yard.

We will also host Founders Nights, where families can gather to share stories and connect, along with Kids Days, where younger generations can discover and celebrate where their families came from. Throughout the space, QR-coded story tags will allow visitors to interact with the wall, bringing family histories to life in a modern and meaningful way.

For weddings and special events, the Heritage Wall adds a powerful layer of significance:

More than anything, this initiative is about identity, belonging, legacy, and local pride. It gives families a reason to come back, bring others, and feel connected to something bigger than themselves.
