This very property traces back to the first settlement of Russiaville, where Joseph Taylor, one of the area’s earliest settlers, established roots that would help shape the community we know today. His legacy still lives on here—his son is laid to rest on the actual grounds of what is now Settler’s Yard, located near the back portion of the property.
